A Classical Ear: Emerald City Music

by Molly Gilmore for OLY ARTS

Music lovers can get an earful of classical music at Emerald City Music’s new series of chamber concerts, starting July 14 in Olympia.

The new series, founded by New York violinist Kristin Lee and arts administrator Andrew Goldstein of Seattle, aims to bring chamber music to a wider audience. Emerald City Music is their organization, and the debut series will provide concerts in Olympia, Tacoma and Seattle.

The first event in the series takes place on July 14 at Olympia’s Batdorf and Bronson facility. Violinist Kristin Lee and guitarist Jordan Dodson will play Bach, Paganini and others at 7 p.m. at Batdorf and Bronson, 516 Capitol Way S, Olympia. Tickets are $25.
